The Wellington Regional Primary Principals’ Association provides funding for clusters of principals to work together on common professional development objectives. Applications are welcome from all clusters that are part of WRPPA. The only requirement is that the request is for some form of professional development that will enhance professional understanding and cooperation within the cluster. Grants can be applied for at any time and applications will be considered by the executive at its next meeting. Simply request an application form from the WRPPA secretary barbarah@koraunui.school.nz The latest group to receive funding is the Wellington Schools Refugee Support Group. Funding was provided for a group of principals to visit the Mangere Refugee Centre and to run some local workshops to help all schools who enjoy the diversity and challenges that refugee children bring.
